On the threshold of the darkest months of winter and the culmination of the Scorpio season, when the Underworld forces are strong, we will set aside three days to gather online and be initiated by the most famous of nightshades, Atropa belladonna. 

 

This misunderstood plant is rightly feared for her poison yet within the vibration of this quality are many gifts of empowerment to be explored. As the conduit to her spirit we will only be ingesting the essence, the vibrational remedy of this plant, her tropane alkaloids rendered neutral while their frequency draws out that which is poisoning our life. Associated with Saturn and Pluto, with the third eye and crown chakras she facilitates introspection into the darkest parts of the psyche, into tightly held fears and repressed shadow. Her shiny black berries are known as mirrors into the soul. She can open gateways to other worlds, to unknown aspects of self as we are taken into expanded states of consciousness.

 

Through this journey we will build capacity to stay with the discomfort, to meet what is, to hold our shadow with presence and courage, preventing it from moving through the world in unconscious ways. As the journey deepens our personal lens begins to widen and focus shifts to collective shadows of humanity, deepening understanding of our place in the great web. 

 

Never in our lifetime has her medicine been needed more as we stand on a collective precipice, where choices need to be made between freedom or the abyss of dystopia. Belladonna cuts the binds to old and toxic situations, people and thought patterns which hold us back, which in turn purges the mind of psychic debris and the cells of trapped emotions. Her power of the underworld is to channel its darklight and transform it into the flaming sword of truth to bless seekers with gnosis of the formless and the wisdom of what is hidden.

 

This is not a ceremony to indulge curiosity or hedonism with this visionary plant spirit but one of commitment to the endeavour of transformation and mystical knowledge in preparation for the chaos to come.

In this online plant spirit initiation, Emma will be joined by embodiment coach,
Donna Mariella where together they will hold a sacred space for three days as you are guided through the shamanic initiation and integrate the teachings of Atropa belladonna.

Practical Information:

An initiation is a period of time that you set aside to honour the spirit of a plant and receive its healing gifts. Initiations take us out of our comfort zone, to expand us into new states of being in alignment with soul purpose, our divinity and our place in the collective.

You will need to set aside these three days to be in sacred space and ceremony where you have no commitments or disturbance.

Creating an altar will facilitate and focus the ceremonial process. (Details will be given)

You will need to be able to join the sessions live.

There will be no recording of the sessions.

There will be two live sessions for each of the three days and exercises, journeys and meditations given for in-between to deepen connection to Belladonna and to oneself.

It is recommended that you only eat light and plain foods for the 3 days. 

A preparation email will be sent to all participants in advance detailing what you will need.
