Initiation is an ancient form of ceremony that brings one into maturity and results in taking up one’s place within the collective. In traditional, indigenous society, initiation was a coming of age ceremony where the young person became an adult, stepping into their role within the “tribe”. The elders would perform the initiations, which sometimes took up to a year to complete and always culminated in a great ceremony and then a feast. All the great wisdom and spiritual philosophies of ancient history including Babylonian, Egyptian and Greek Mystery traditions had initiatory systems at their core, designed to lead the initiate back to unification with their divine consciousness and self-realization. In modern times the initiation process has been mostly forgotten, so most adults alive today have never had the opportunity to come into their maturity, bringing forth their gifts in order to serve the community. The elders, too, are mostly gone, so even for those who would like to be initiated into being truly human the opportunity does not exist. In my deep work with plants I continue to be amazed by how they step up to the plate and provide us with exactly what we need. So what is emerging is that the common plants are taking up the role of the elder and offering us initiation into what it means to be truly human, living sanely within the collective.

A plant initiation is an opportunity to work deeply with a plant or tree, where you not only receive personal healing but also become bonded with the particular plant and receive it’s healing gifts, which you can then apply in your work with yourself, others, or the planet. This form of intimate sharing with a plant allows for you to receive guidance on many issues, open doors of perception, undergo healing on all levels, and expand your consciousness. Plant Initiations are probably the most powerful way to build your relationship with plants and trees into a co-creative partnership where the plant or tree becomes your beloved for life, who supports you to be your authentic self, journeying on the path you came to walk this time around.

In this unique year long training course you will learn the art of facilitating an initiatory experience for others with plant spirits. Blending in-person and online teachings, practices and skill development Pam Montgomery and Emma Fitchett will share their direct experience and more than five decades of shared plant spirit healing wisdom with a select group. They will guide you through all the facets and nuances of working simultaneously in the physical and spirit world to take participants through a portal of transformation and into the inner realms of Nature. Taking place in the US, the UK and online, you will be guided through a graduated unfoldment of this sacred practice.

Pam Montgomery
Author, teacher, international speaker and Earth Elder who has passionately embraced her role as a spokesperson for the green beings and has been investigating plants/trees and their intelligent spiritual nature for more than three decades. She is the author of two books one of which is the highly acclaimed Plant Spirit Healing; A Guide to Working with Plant Consciousness and Partner Earth; A Spiritual Ecology. She operates the Partner Earth Education Center at Sweetwater Sanctuary in Danby, Vermont where co-creative partnership with Nature research takes place. Pam also teaches internationally on plant spirit healing, spiritual ecology and people as Nature Evolutionaries. She is a founding member of United Plant Savers and more recently the Organization of Nature Evolutionaries or O.N.E. Her latest passion is to engage ceremonially in full symbiosis within the plant/human matrix where the elder common plants and trees initiate and guide us into being truly human.
Emma Fitchett MSc
Emma is a plant spirit healer, shamanic teacher and author. She has held plant diet retreats and ceremonies in England and Wales since 2016. She holds a Master's Degree in 'The Preservation & Development Of Wisdom Culture & The Art Of Liberation' in the Tibetan Buddhist Mahayana Tradition, writing her thesis on 'Understanding The Nature Of The Self Through Lucid Dreaming'.
She has been initiated into indigenous healing and magical lineages of the British Isles and the Ecuadorian Amazon, is the holder of the White Serpent lineage and is also a Geomancer, Psychic Surgeon and entity removal specialist. Emma is the founder of the School of Natural Esoterics, the Plant Consciousness Apothecary and runs a Remote Healing Practice.
