Beneath the hedgerows, along the liminal edges and hidden in plain sight are the banes of the plant world. These are the initiators, the guardians at the threshold and the dwellers of the Underworld. These are the dark aspects of the Goddess, offering her true wisdom of transformation and shadow integration. These are the lamps along the path to spiritual sovereignty.
Working with the banes is a very different approach to the balms, they ask a much higher level of commitment, self-care and courage. Their teachings are direct and form a body of Underworld lore which is both saturnian and plutonian in nature. Their ability to draw out that which is poisoning our life from this and past incarnations has profound effects on conscious awareness, healing and self-mastery. This course will provide a sound guide for working in the realm of spirit as well as traversing netherworld regions of the psyche with poisonous plant spirits as your guide.
In this three week instructional course you will learn about the art of being initiated by a Saturnian plant spirit from a shamanic and magical perspective. Drawing from the Western Esoteric Tradition as well as direct teachings from the plant spirits themselves this is a comprehensive outline of how to work safely in both the seen and unseen realms, how to honour the teachings from these bewitching plants and how to integrate them into everyday reality.
This course teaches fundamental information and skills required for working with plant spirits in their essence form, we do not offer instructions for nor advocate working with actual poisons or any extracts of poisonous plants.

Emma Fitchett MSc
Emma is a plant spirit healer, shamanic teacher and author. She has held plant diet initiation ceremonies in England and Wales since 2016. She has been initiated into and trained in indigenous healing and magical lineages of the British Isles and the Ecuadorian Amazon, is a Yew Mysteries Initiate, the holder of the White Serpent lineage and is also a Psychic Surgeon and entity removal specialist. Emma holds a practicing Master's Degree in 'The Preservation & Development Of Wisdom Culture & The Art Of Liberation' in the Tibetan Buddhist Mahayana Tradition, writing her thesis on 'Understanding The Nature Of The Self Through Lucid Dreaming'.
