Being initiated by a plant spirit is one of the most profound ways to not only get to know a plant but to receive it’s healing and guidance. In a world where true human elders are almost gone the plants and trees have stepped into the role as initiators so that humans can find their place in the world and step into a new phase of life in maturity and inner freedom. 

 

We have a unique upcoming astrological alignment which is birthing a new reality for us all in the great turning of the ages. In late February, Saturn and Neptune meet together at the very first degree of the zodiac, a rare moment in time that invites us to step into a realised dream that we are ready to fully commit to bringing into form.

 

Across time, Vervain, Verbena officinalis has been used to prepare the ground for the sacred and to remove what stands in the way of that which is emerging. Associated with Mercury and Venus, with the third eye and crown chakras, it is known to drive away adversarial forces and consecrate the mundane, granting power and magical gifts to those who honour it wisely. In this initiation with Vervain we recognise that before anything new can be built we must clear the inner landscape. During these three days we will release and re-pattern any resistances, old patterns and blockages which may interfere with what needs to be birthed. We will deepen our experience with the plant in many ways including dreaming, journeying, creativity, embodiment processes and experiencing it's spirit through breath work.

 

During this conjunction and in advance of the initiation you will be invited to listen to the dream that won’t leave you alone, the one which is asking for your commitment. One week later, we will meet together with Vervain, one of the most ancient and revered plant allies, to begin the journey of bringing form to this dream. Associated with inspiration and wish fulfilment, Vervain is also a nervine, reminding us that we not not only create through intention and magical ritual, but through increasing personal capacity to hold that which we are building. From this wisdom we create a structure and plan for the coming times. With the help of Vervain, we clear the way, open to the magic and take the first step into a new reality.

In this online plant spirit initiation, Emma will be joined by embodiment coach,
Donna Mariella where together they will hold a sacred space for three days as you are guided through the shamanic initiation and integrate the teachings of Verbena officinalis.

Practical Information:

An initiation is a period of time that you set aside to honour the spirit of a plant and receive its healing gifts. Initiations take us out of our comfort zone, to expand us into new states of being in alignment with soul purpose, our divinity and our place in the collective.

You will need to set aside these three days to be in sacred space and ceremony where you have no commitments or disturbance.

Creating an altar will facilitate and focus the ceremonial process. (Details will be given)

You will need to be able to join the sessions live.

There will be no recording of the sessions.

There will be two live sessions for each of the three days and exercises, journeys and meditations given for

in-between to deepen connection to Vervain and to oneself.

It is recommended that you only eat light and plain foods for the 3 days. 

A preparation email will be sent to all participants in advance detailing what you will need.
